They taste good enough, but were pretty cracked. Since I was using them to make little cookie bees I had to coat them in chocolate so they would work. I don't know if better packaging would have helped or if it is just the nature of the cookies to crack.Bought one case from this vendor. Was a little disappointed at first because the price showed "free shipping", however when I went to check out I had to pay ~$25 for shipping. Please note we are in Hawaii which may well be the reason for this.I took a chance therefore and paid around $75 total for 12 boxes of Mallowmars (OK I missed these!). For what it's worth they arrived in just a couple days, so the shipping charge was probably justified. 12 boxes = 1 case and they arrived in great shape, and are exactly as a remember them. I have no regrets about this purchase!!This order was filled and shipped quickly, and was indeed a case of Mallomars, the best cookie ever invented. But the box was left outside my front door, in Florida, in May. Though I was worried about the chocolate melting, it must not have been out there long. Whew! Mallomars in perfect condition. Great product, quick shipping, wonderfully simple transaction!Interesting, I place my order, my order is accepted, I receive notification that the item has been back ordered because it's out of stock, I tell them I'm willing to wait, I then receive notice that my order was canceled, and then I'm asked to write this review.Mallomars are great, I've ordered in the past when this supplier had them in stock and delivery was quick and great. Just watch when they tell you it's out of stock.Of the 24 boxes we ordered, 5 were from last Spring, 19 were this Autumn's batch. Otherwise, shipment arrived on time and in good shape.These are the best cookies ever made. It is a perfect combination of the sweet marshmallow over the cookie all covered with chocolate. What else can you wish? Gotta love them!The underlying idea of the Mallomar is the campsite S'more - graham cracker base, marshmallow top robed in REAL chocolate. This is a great cookie, but its availability is limited because the real chocolate melts. The case of Mallomars is a great deal when you can't find the cookies in your locality, but remember - this is a winter cookie - no Mallomars in the summer.Wonderful cookies. Perfect combination of chocolate, marshmellow and the cookie. Hard to eat just one.
